They allow selection of multiple categories, because scenes can contain content that falls under multiple categories. There are 'tags' on this site, and it seems that categories are just the most used tags that eventually were made into 'channels'. They class both channel and tags under the categories heading below each video. You're arguing that there should be an exclusively lesbian category for videos with no other type of content, which may be a good thing. I don't necessarily disagree with that. I don't think porn sites put a whole lot of thought into how videos are categorised. Why don't you get in contact with the site itself and make the suggestion.
There are no tags on xhamster. There are categories. Which means you categorize your videos in way that actually fits the content in its entirety. Or do you think it's logical that people browing the lesbian category looking for lesbian porn should just have to accept that there's videos of women sucking dicks everywhere? That seems more nonsensical to me.
But don't worry, I'm pretty used to being dismissed for wanting the LESBIAN category (one out of the hundreds of categories on here that straight/bisexual people can enjoy) to actually provide me with LESBIAN porn and not just regular straight porn with some girl/girl scenes in them.
Because in case you missed it, unlike the gay guys, gay women don't have their own part of the site. We have to be content with a lesbian category in the straight section. Because that's how much people don't give a fuck about us.
